Transit Travel Pack 25L

The 25L is the Transit pack for people who refuse to check a bag and would rather not fight for overhead space either. At 46 cm tall it goes under the seat on the major US carriers, and it still opens flat like the bigger Transit packs, with a full clamshell zip and a mesh divider so a long weekend of clothes stays on one side and your kit on the other.

Same construction as its siblings: 840-denier recycled nylon with a polyurethane coating, a TPU-laminated base, water-resistant coil zippers lockable at the main compartment. The suspended sleeve takes a 14-inch laptop. The hip belt is here too, and stows away when the bag is light enough not to need it. Empty weight is 1.15 kg.

Questions

Does the 25L fit under an airplane seat? Yes on the major US carriers, whose personal-item limits run around 45 × 35 × 20 cm; the 25L is 46 × 30 × 18 cm and soft enough to give the extra centimetre. Check your carrier; a few budget airlines publish tighter limits.

How many days can I pack in it? Two to four with the Kit Compression Cube Set. The 25L is the pack that rewards packing light.

Will a 16-inch laptop fit? No. The sleeve is sized to 14 inches. The 35L and 45L take a 16-inch machine.
