Transit Travel Pack 35L

The 35L is the pack most of our customers end up living out of. It is sized to the priority cabin-bag limit on European budget carriers (55 × 40 × 20 cm) and well inside the US carry-on allowance, so it goes overhead on both sides of the Atlantic without a gate-side argument. It opens flat like a suitcase, with a full-length clamshell zip and a mesh divider that keeps a week of clothes on one side and everything else on the other. A separate bottom compartment takes shoes or laundry so they never touch clean layers.

The shell is 840-denier recycled nylon with a polyurethane coating, on a TPU-laminated base that shrugs off wet pavement. Zippers are water-resistant coil, lockable at the main compartment. The suspended laptop sleeve fits a 16-inch machine, and the hip belt stows into its own channel when you would rather carry it as a duffel-shaped shoulder bag. Empty weight is 1.45 kg.

Questions

Does the 35L fit under an airplane seat? No. At 51 cm tall it is an overhead bag. For under-seat carry choose the 25L.

Is it carry-on legal on Ryanair or easyJet? Yes, as the larger priority cabin bag on both. It is not the free small bag; that limit is 40 × 20 × 25 cm.

Which packing cubes fit it? The Kit Packing Cube Set (3) is sized so the S, M and L together fill the main compartment with about a fist of room to spare.
